For our second event in Belfast, we'll be deep diving into the world of Burgundy with Master Sommelier and Burgundy expert Gearóid Devaney. This masterclass will focus on upcoming areas in Burgundy, insights into the region and some of Gearóid's personal favourites. This Somm Series will include a tasting of six wines from the region followed by a mini tasting.

We are headed to Belfast to welcome industry professionals to our first Somm Series in NI! Gearóid Devaney MS hails from Belfast and is excited to host his first Blind Tasting Masterclass where he will guide you through a series of carefully selected wines, challenging your palate without the influence of labels. Belfast's vibrant food and drink scene, with it's growing interest in wine culture, provides the perfect backdrop for this event hosted at Ox Cave. Followed by a small tasting.

Join us as we partner with Wines Australia and New Zealand Wine to  showcase wines from Ben Haines of Yarra Valley and Mike Patterson of Corofin Wines of Marlborough. These wines are an expression of the distinctive terroir and vibrant communities that craft them.

Join us as we contribute to panelled discussions and showcase wines from the Silex portfolio.

We are thrilled to host our inaugural event in our Somm Series at Montys of Kathmandu. Our guest speaker will be Master Sommelier, Gearóid Devaney, sharing his expertise by offering invaluable tips and tricks on blind tasting. This is a unique opportunity to learn from a leading expert and elevate your blind tasting skills. Following the session, there will be a small tasting of wines from our portfolio, followed by lunch.  ​
