Leo Steen Wines - Sonoma

Since 2004, Leo Hansen has been crafting natural wines made from organic or sustainably farmed vineyards. His winemaking practice is a hands off approach using concrete, cask, or seasoned oak for maturation. Leo works with a multitude of varietals including Chenin Blanc, Chardonnay, Grenache, Cabernet Frane located throughout Sonoma County, Mendocino County and Santa Barbara.
RAEN Winery

Located in the rugged westerly Sonoma Coast, less than a few miles from the cool Pacific Ocean, RAEN farms less than 25 acres of vines. The cooling coastal influence and unique soils create an ideal climate for elegant, expressive wines. These monopole sites are considered to be California grand cru vineyards, planted to pinot noir and chardonnay. RAEN is dedicated to farming these sites with the utmost respect for nature, caring for the soil, vine and human health, as well as the planet’s.
Anthill Farms

Anthill Farms is a project between three friends; Webster Marquez, Anthony Filiberti, and David Low, focusing on producing exceptional Pinot Noir from a broad range of North Coast vineyards and focusing on farming practices with minimal ecological impact. Their goal is to produce wines from cooler climates that showcase their distinctive personalities through the small plots they farm. Their first vintage was in 2004 and they've since added Chardonnay, Syrah, and Cabernet Sauvignon to their roster.
Failla Wines

Failla Wines (pronounced FAY-LA) started 1998 with small amounts of Viognier and Syrah throughout Napa and Sonoma. Ehren Jordan's background includes working alongside Rhône legend Jean-Luc Columbo and at iconic estates like Turley Wine Cellars, he brings a deep understanding of both Old and New World techniques. Known for his minimalist, vineyard driven approach that emphasizes balance, structure, and purity of fruit, Ehren crafts wines that are expressive, terroir-focused, and age-worthy.
The Mascot

Made from the younger vines of Harlan, BOND and Promontory, The Mascot began as a family wine, unnamed and unlabelled. Over the years following harvest it became favoured by friends and family of the domain, then leading to it's own bottling. The family decided to mature the wine a little longer, so that, upon release, it was delicious to drink and intensely vibrant, with the force and depth that enabled extended aging—a wine to enjoy viscerally and without excessive reverence.
Promontory

Along the Oakville southwestern ridge, the rugged land for Promontory was discovered by the Harlan family well before it was ....
In 2008, it was finally acquired and the family set to work on the land that led to discoveries of this special terroir.
LIOCO

LIOCO was conceived in the summer of 2005 in the alley behind Spago in Beverly Hills. Wine director Kevin O’Connor and wine salesman Matt Licklider, critical of the heavy-handed wines of the day, wondered if it was possible to make more nuanced wines from California soils. In the early aughts, this was still relatively unknown. Sourcing exceptional fruit across five different counties with the focus on Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Carignan, leads to vineyards with age, distinctive soils and heritage clones. Champions of minimal intervention, the wines reflect the inherent quality of well-grown fruit.
Long Meadow Ranch

A thriving property in the late 1800’s, the majestic Long Meadow Ranch thrived with vineyards, apple orchards, and olive groves, until farming fell dormant during Prohibition. In 1989, the Halls purchased the ranch and carefully breathed life back into the land and then some, by cutting back the abandoned olive trees and replanting the vineyards and apple orchards as you see them today. Home to the Mayacamas Estate, the rugged 650-acre landscape lays in the foothills of the Mayacamas Mountains, Long Meadow Ranch also expands it's vineyards throughout Anderson Valley.
Mayacamas

Founded in 1889, Mayacamas stands as one of the most storied vineyards and winery operations in Napa Valley. Originally planted with Zinfandel vines and named Fisher & Sons, it was then bought at auction in 1941 and re-christened 'Mayacamas Vineyards' with the new owners the first to plant Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon on the property. The vineyards span 50 acres across the 475 acre Estate, all south-facing on Mt Veeder with the vinification and élevage remaining remarkably consistent since the 1950's.
Lieu Dit

Starting as a passion project between friends in 2011, Justin Willett of Tyler Wines saw the potential of the diverse micro-climates of Santa Barbara County and the marriage of grapes hailing from the Loire Valley. Focusing on Sauvignon Blanc, Chenin Blanc and Cabernet Franc, a light touch in the winery and focusing on the health of the grapes in the vineyards, Justin allows the fruit to shine through creating wines showcase purity, elegance and balance.
Foxglove, Varner Wines

Foxglove started in the 1990's as a secondary label to the already well-known Varner Wines, showcasing vineyards throughout the Edna Valley and celebrating the characteristics of the Central Coast. These wines are exceptional value for money, offering complex fruit flavours and balance across the range. The clay-loam soils and proximity to the ocean are celebrated as 'textbook Central Coast.'
Tyler Winery

From starting in a shared cellar in 2005, Justin Tyler Willett has grown into one of the most respected producers of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay in the Sta. Rita Hills. Working with some of the most prestigious vineyards throughout Santa Barbara, Justin crafts wines of precision and elegance through minimal intervention in the cellar and meticulous farming in the vineyards, allowing the individual characteristics of each site to shine through. The 'entry level' Chardonnay and Pinot are far from elementary as they are a blend of fruit from sites such as Dierberg, Sanford & Benedict, and La Rinconada.
Chanin Wine Co.

Gavin famously started his winery before he was even legal age to drink. A protégé of Jim Clendenen of Au Bon Climat and Bob Linquist of Qupé - Gavin learned from the best. Sourcing fruit from vineyards such as Los Alamos, Sanford & Benedict, and Bien Nacido, Gavin's Chardonnays and Pinots exude a purity and freshness like no other. In similar afshion to Justin Willet, Gavin uses fruit from his top vineyards each vintage to craft his entry level Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. UCLA is his Alma Mater with a major in art, in which the medium is now his wine labels.
Liquid Farm

The name derives from the 'authentic nature of wine - liquid from farming.' Focusing on the coolest sites in Santa Barbara County, the Chardonnay is sourced from soils similar to Chablis and Cote d'Or, lending a striking freshness and minerality, hence the name 'Golden Slope' for once of the cuvées. Where the Pinot's come from clay and loam, leading to structured tannins, complexity and acidity. Jeff Nelson used to sell some of the top wines in the US, wanting to break away from it and create wines in the style that he loves, Liquid Farm was born.
Cristom Vineyards

Located in the Eola-Amity Hills in Oregon's Willamette Valley, Cristom Vineyards was founded in 1992 by Paul and Eileen Gerrie. Focusing on sustainable farming, each vineyard is meticulously managed to produce distinctive wines from each plot. These special vineyards on the estate are named after members of the Gerrie family. Bringing on Daniel Estrin in 2019 has continued Cristom's success, formerly from such lauded wineries as Craggy Range and Littorai, Daniel has enhanced the Chardonnay program as well as the already distinguished Pinot Noirs on the estate.
