We’re delighted to work with these benchmark producers from both regions: Ben Haines, crafting site-driven wines from the Yarra with finesse and energy; the iconic Leeuwin Estate from Margaret River, whose Art Series Chardonnay is widely regarded as one of Australia's greatest white wines and the newly added Alkina Wine Estate from Barossa that is challenging the norms of classic wines from the region. Across the Tasman, Corofin champions Marlborough’s subregional diversity, producing single-parcel Pinot Noir and Chardonnay of clarity and restraint; Together, they exemplify a shared ethos: purity of fruit, transparency of place, and a commitment to sustainable, terroir-focused winemaking in the Southern Hemisphere.

Leeuwin Estate

Leeuwin Estate is a family-run Margaret River pioneer, since the 1970s it's been a benchmark for precision and poise in Australian wine. Built on meticulous viticulture and a long-term vision for the estate, the ethos are classic over flashy: low-yielding blocks, careful handwork, and élevage that serves transparency rather than make-up, but the north star has always been vineyard expression, sustainability, and consistency across decades.

Alkina Wine Estates

A new addition to the Silex Wines portfolio, Alkina Wines was created in 2015 when Alejandro Bulgheroni, Australian winemaker, Amelia Nolan and Italian oenologist, Alberto Antonini saw an opportunity to create a single estate winery and vineyard on the site of an old farm in the Greenock sub-region of the Barossa Valley. With the guidance of terroir expert Pedro Parra and a deeply committed local team, Alkina is now a magical place with terroir winegrowing and regenerative farming at its heart

Ben Haines Wines, based in Victoria’s renowned Yarra Valley, is dedicated to crafting expressive, site-driven wines with a deep connection to nature. With a philosophy rooted in minimal intervention and a keen focus on terroir, Ben showcases the purity, balance, and elegance that define the region. Each bottle reflects a thoughtful, hands-on approach that celebrates the unique character of each vineyard.

Corofin Wines

Mike Patterson, the visionary behind Corofin Winery in Marlborough, focuses on single-vineyard expressions of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Working with some of the most compelling vineyards in the region, Mike's collaborations with the top growers allows for him to create wines of purity, finesse, and complexity, allowing each wine to speak authentically of its place.
